Dr. Marisel Araud Silva

I am a Doctor of Psychology with over 16 years of experience dedicated to supporting individuals, families, professionals, and organizations in improving mental health and overall well-being. My work is grounded in a psychoanalytic framework, helping individuals explore deeper emotional patterns, life experiences, and relationships that shape their thoughts, behaviors, and personal growth.

Throughout my career, I have developed specialized expertise in trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, grief and loss, and professional development on important mental health topics. I also have extensive experience in new program development, helping organizations design and implement effective mental health initiatives, trainings, and support systems that meet the needs of the communities they serve. In addition to clinical work, I actively engage in research, consultation, and educational initiatives that promote mental health awareness and strengthen services and systems of care.

I was born in Puerto Rico and proudly provide services in both Spanish and English, allowing me to support diverse communities through culturally responsive care. My academic journey includes completing my undergraduate studies at La Salle University, my master’s degree at the University of Phoenix, and my Doctorate in Psychology at Capella University.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling, spending meaningful time with my family, and starting my day with a great cup of coffee. ☕✈️
